Tuesday Night Track 2/13
An Easy day - Post snow
Winter evenings have a way of transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary, especially when it comes to running with a club. This Tuesday night was no exception as our group laced up their running shoes for an 8-10 mile jaunt through snow lined streets, culminating in a post-run PBR and subsequent gathering at The Fridge.
The day had started with a hasty snowfall, blanketing the town in a pristine layer of white. As the sun dipped below the horizon, we gathered in the parking lot, breath visible in the crisp evening air. The glow of streetlights reflected off the freshly fallen snow. We set off at a leisurely pace, though for some of us, it felt like a lot of work. Conversation ensued, with topics of vacations in warm places and how terrible we felt driving us forward.
After the run, PBRs were enjoyed and the beers continued at The Fridge.

Long Run - 2/11
A Long day at Enola
On Sundays, we go long
There’s something magical about a Sunday morning run, especially when it takes place in a picturesque location like Enola. This weekend, six dedicated runners gathered to embark on a challenging yet exhilarating long run, running along the scenic trail. The camaraderie and the scenery made it a run to remember.
Enola, with its slight uphill on the way out, provided the perfect backdrop for the runners to lace up their shoes and hit the gravel for a nice negative split. Even through the mostly cloudy day, the group brought the energy and set out for a 15+ mile journey.
The pace started out conservative but got down to 6:20/6:40 per mile pretty quickly. The highlight of the day was one runner’s incredible marathon workout. He embarked on a 10-mile journey within a 17 mile run, starting at 6:20 pace, gradually working down to an astounding 5:40 per mile. This display of speed and stamina left the group in awe, proving that Enola had witnessed a remarkable feat on that Sunday morning.
Post run Honey Stinger and drinks ensued and another day at Enola was in the books.
